Neijuan, SOFT TOWER

Exhibited at L’APPARTEMENT - ESPACE IMAGES VEVEY. Made possible with the Prix Images Vevey x ECAL 2024, Conceived as a mental space, this immersive installation consists of nine screens continuously stream excerpts from Neijuan: videos, webcams, avatars, scenes of intimacy. We follow Kei, a virtual flatmate living in Japan, permanently connected since the pandemic.

Visible only through a screen, they embody the fragmented presence central to the artist’s work. Interface, isolation, multiple identities: Soft Tower condenses the themes into a visual flow in constant mutation.
